Animals in our community rely on compassionate individuals like you every day to find the second chances they deserve. Yavapai Humane Society's Walk for the Animals on Saturday, May 14 is your chance to make a big difference in their lives!

Every dollar raised for the Walk for the Animals helps provide medical treatment, behavior programs, and nurturing care to the more than 3,000 animals who come to YHS every year - animals like Carol.

Three weeks ago Carol was found emaciated and abandoned in a local parking lot. She was brought to YHS where she received the medical treatment and nutrition she so urgently needed. Because our team believed in and cared for Carol, and because of donations from people like you, Carol didn't just survive, she thrived! See the picture taken just today of how wonderfully Carol has filled out and gained weight--looking like a puppy should! Soon Carol will be strong enough to have her spay surgery and find the perfect adopter who will give her loving home she deserves.
