Our first Golden was a very sweet female named Sunny that came into our lives sixteen years ago and left a big hole in our hearts when she went to the Rainbow Bridge. The rest of our Goldens have been males, each special in their own way. We had been wanting another female for some time. In November, RAG contacted us to ask if we were willing to foster/adopt a dog from China. They had a group of 10 arriving soon. We asked for a red female and looked through some photos. We picked out Cora, a three-year-old red Golden. After a few weeks of waiting, our little girl arrived! We had no idea what to expect as far as health, temperament or behavior, but she has exceeded our expectations in every way.

Her new name is Pixie for her small size, and her middle name is Noelle because she came to us in December. Pixie is only 48 pounds and the size of a medium dog. She is beautiful, in good health, well-behaved, and very loving and affectionate. She lives for her walks and is high energy in the morning. She plays with her toys all day and is a devoted daddy’s girl. She loves her two brothers Scout and Jack. She gets old Scout up and moving and follows his lead. She loves to play with Jack, who really needed a playmate. She has the entire family wrapped around her finger, and we feel so lucky to have her.

Pixie's story would not have been possible without the support from people like you. Please be a part of a future success story by contributing to our efforts or consider volunteering with us.
