How to Save a Life: Thank you from our President

The new year is almost upon us, so what better time to look back on the success of our first ever online annual fundraising campaign ~ “How to Save a Life.”  

I cannot begin to thank you for your incredible generosity.  Every donation dollar you gave so selflessly enables us to rescue Golden Retrievers who are abandoned, neglected, or simply can no longer be cared for by owners who have loved them for years.  I hope that the stories we told about Gaspar, Speedy, Penny, Hendrix, Melody, Pearl and the Golden Nuggets touched your hearts, and reminded you that our ability to continue this important work depends on you.  To each of those Goldens, and to every one of us, you are a hero.  

It’s not too late to become a part of this year’s Annual Campaign.  In fact, it’s the perfect time to make a tax-deductible end-of-year donation in support of our all-volunteer non-profit organization.

If I may, I’d like to leave you with a short poem that is about any dog you love, have ever loved, have helped to rescue, or whose face you have gently caressed.  It is called “Watch Me Now,” and tells the story of a Golden Retriever whose life is transformed forever through the miracle of rescue.  

After all, that is how you save a life.
