Giving Tuesday is Coming! Can Penny's Life be Saved?

Now we come upon Giving Tuesday, an annual day of giving when Golden-loving people like you donate to causes they support - and we hope Penny’s story of courage and strength will help you to choose RAGofAZ for your special contribution.  Penny was desperately ill when she was surrendered to RAGofAZ but with skilled (and costly) treatment she pulled through.  So Penny is making a very special request:

“On Giving Tuesday, as a tribute to every dog like me who has fought for his or her life, will you support our Annual Campaign with a donation in my honor?  On behalf of every Golden whose life you will help to save, thank you.”

One day a desperate call came in
My poor dog’s dying, weak and thin
Her legs are lame ... lumps on her skin
If you can’t save her, it’s the end
 
Carried off in big strong arms
The doctor hid her quiet alarm
Her words instead were warm and calm
To this sweet girl will come no harm
 
Her condition is rather rare
Sometimes life is so unfair
It’ll take time and lots of care
But day by day we’ll get her there
 
This brave girl’s the fighting type
Miraculously she survived
She greets each day now with delight
And that is how you save a life
