It’s election time for the RAGofAZ Board of Directors

Every year at this time, RAGofAZ members elect officers and directors for half of the Board positions. Those elected serve a two year term.

This year, the Board positions are:


President – principal corporate officer; presides at meetings of Board and membership; makes sure that resolutions of the Board are carried out; liaison with national rescues.




Secretary – records the votes and keeps minutes of all meetings of Board and membership; prepares agenda and serves notice of meetings; keeps current member records.




Director of Golden Rescue – responsible for the following teams: Intake, Transport, Home Visit, Woof Line, International Rescue.

Director of Community Relations – responsible for fund raising and relationships with business and community groups.




Director of Social Media – responsible for maintaining RAGofAZ’s social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
