We are so in love!

Charlie is the absolute best dog ever! He loves to snuggle and we can’t get enough of him!

We started the adoption process because our hearts were finally ready to add a pup to our family. We rescued a Golden Eskimo in 2009 (Golden Retriever/American Eskimo) and he was the best dog ever! We had to say goodbye to him on Labor Day of 2022 - he was just shy of his 16th birthday.

We knew we’d like a dog who was 2 or older and were open to either gender and a mix (as long as he or she was part Golden). I received a call about a dog who failed a genetic test and couldn't be used for breeding - I immediately said yes!

It took a couple weeks for him to get to us and as soon as he did, we were in love! He is almost 3 years old and he makes our home feel complete once again.

He loves to snuggle, go on walks and is obsessed with being pet. He gets along great with our 2 cats and he loves our son who is 12.

We are forever grateful for RAG of AZ! The whole process was easy and very well executed. All of the volunteers have treated us and Charlie like family!
